    • Aegon the Conqueror and his two sisters use dragons to forge the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.

    • Rebellions and wars erupt as various houses vie for control of the Iron Throne.

    • The Targaryen dynasty, known for their mastery over dragons, is eventually overthrown by Robert Baratheon in a rebellion.

  • The story begins with the impending death of King Robert Baratheon, setting off a chain reaction of plots, alliances, and betrayals as noble families fight for control of the Iron Throne.
